My Journey to Osteopathy

Qualifications & Expertise

My journey as an osteopath began in the UK, where I spent over six years living in Wales and earned my Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost) from Swansea University. I graduated with a “first-class honours” and was awarded for my “Outstanding Contribution to Clinical Practice.” I was also incredibly honoured to receive the “Institute of Osteopathy’s Rising Star Award in 2023.”

During my studies I had the privilege of gaining invaluable experience working at the award-winning Health and Wellbeing Academy located on campus, in addition to working within an integrated NHS setting off-campus in my final year of studies.

Following graduation, I worked as an associate in two highly respected practices in South Wales, both known for their commitment to person-centred and evidence-informed care. These experiences shaped the way I practice today, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

Helping you move freely and live pain-free is more than just my job, it’s my passion.

My interest in musculoskeletal health and function developed through years of competitive dance and experiencing my own journey of being limited by my pain. Having first-hand experience of how impactful pain can be on quality of life and the ability to do the things you want to achieve is what has made me so passionate about achieving total wellbeing for my patients.

Pain relief can be life-changing.

Whether you’re training for a marathon, recovering from an injury or simply want to move more freely in your daily life, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Osteopathy isn’t just about treating pain, it’s about restoring balance, improving function and helping you feel like yourself again.

Our Logo

To honour my time living in Wales and the start to my osteopathic career, I have chosen a daffodil flower as my logo ~ the Welsh National Flower, which typically blooms at the start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Not only is it a reminder of my journey to becoming an Osteopath, but it represents hope, renewal and new beginnings ~ all of which summarise the essence of opening my practice in South Africa and what I aim to help facilitate through pain relief and improved overall wellbeing.
